Just spent an hour in photoshop colouring my self portrait doodle, trying to use a more "painterly" style. Im trying to get the hang of colouring in photoshop!

I can edit photos in photoshop now, as well as some bsic typography, but I can't draw in it yet (also due to having a rather crap graphics tablet, which has some lag time issues :O) but as I keep practising colouring my drawings, hopefully one day I shall be able to successfully paint digitally!

I did this simply by adding different layers for each element of colouring, and used brushes and dodge and burn for the colouring. Simple but hopefully effective!

Hopefully one day I shall be able to paint digitally like many of the fabulous artists on here who I admire ;)

but i shall keep practising, both traditionally, and digitally :)
